Pedu Lake
Pedu Lake, the growing tourist attraction is located 5 km away from the Malaysian-Thai border.
It is a beautiful lake with wonderful landscapes, serene atmosphere and salubrious weather around.

Gunung Jerai
Formerly known as "Kedah Peak", this forest-clad Gunung Jerai is a massive limestone outcrop that rises 1200m above sea level. As the highest peak in the state, it adds a touch of variety to the scenic flat plains seen throughout the area. It's located near Sungai Petani.
A 12km road which winds its way up the mountain leads to a hill resort from where you can have a spectacular view. For those interested to know about the natural vegetation on Gunung Jerai.
For the adventurous, a brisk 4-hour hike is a rewarding experience that will allow the trekkers to get a closer look at the mountain's unique flora and its numerous bird species that live there.
